Poppunk legends Sum 41 have been quite silent for the past years, since 2011’s Screaming Bloody Murder. Stevo since left the band and Deryck Whibley almost died one year ago due to his abusive drinking. After learning to live sober, Deryck came back to the studio as he, apparently, did not have anything else to do.

He came back on stage this month with ex-My Chemical Romance member Mikey May as « Deryck and the Happiness Machines » to perform old school Sum 41 songs.

Yesterday the band announced the upcoming release of a new album that you can pre-order here stating « Sum 41 is back and stronger and more excited than we have been in a long time. It’s time to make a fucking great record! »
